Hi, I’m Dr. Amber Teten. I’m a family optometrist in Chesapeake, VA, with a specialization in pediatric optometry and vision therapy. I opened Navigation Eye Care in October 2022 with one mission: to deliver a level of patient care that people didn’t think was possible from an eye doctor in Chesapeake — thorough, unhurried, and genuinely personal
I personally wear Neurolens. My team does too. Everything I recommend, I believe in, because I’ve experienced it myself.
When I’m not in the office, I’m a wife and mom who understands firsthand what it means to balance family, work, and health. That’s the lens through which I care for every patient who trusts us with their vision.

Meet Dr. Troy Moss
Dr. Moss recently relocated to the area with his wife, who is completing her vascular surgery fellowship at EVMS/ODU. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.
In my free time, I like to cook, go on walks, golf, and dine at local restaurants with good company. I also plan to frequent the beach now that I live close to one!
